Come out and participate or watch a match (participating is more fun). Refine your skills and learn tips and tricks, new shooters will be helped with technique and fundamentals of active shooting.
We shoot an IDPA style match that is designed to teach and sharpen beginner through advanced Defensive Pistol techniques. The match primarily focuses on individual defensive pistol concepts using scenario based stages to teach defensive shooting in a competitive format. We promote safe, proficient use of firearms and equipment suitable for concealed carry self-defense. We offer a practical shooting environment encouraging competitors to develop skills and fellowship with like minded shooters. Our courses of fire are practical and realistic that test skills that could be required to survive life-threatening encounters. Techniques will include skill building from ‘presentation’ of the handgun, reloading methods and shooting techniques from ‘close contact’ through 25 yards. Other skills will involve items such as ‘after-action’ drills, malfunction clearing techniques, and even philosophical concepts such as ‘the combat mindset.

This is an excellent Match for beginners through advanced shooters. The Matches are adapted to accommodate the skill levels.
Mens and Womens Divisions
Materials needed for the match are a Handgun with holster (rigid belt holsters without retention mechanisms are preferred) and at least 3 magazines or speed loaders with belt holders/pouches for 2. If you do not currently own all equipment listed, new shooters will be allowed to use what they have, for instance pants pockets can hold magazines. If you are not sure what accessories you need, come up and see what the other shooters suggest or use. The environment is new shooter friendly and you can make a informed decisions for purchases for new equipment if needed.

Cost: $10 Introductory price per shooter
